FORBES ROAD

About

Whether it's in the present day suburbs or an 1870's Pennsylvania coal mining town, the concept of life and family are the same.  Relocation for a new job or the birth of a child, making friends or fending off enemies, finding new love or the sadness of death, all are relevant in any time period.  Follow the Polish immigrant Wilkowskie family as they navigate what life brings to them.

Praise for this book

Even though the book seems long, it moves quickly and is easy to read.

I really liked the people in the story. I liked the deep friendships that developed between the male characters and female characters. I also liked the angst with the town manager. Good job!
